As sister companies, Horizon and Alaska have a close relationship, and many employees find that their career paths cross between companies. That’s why we’re developing Ascend programs that help make that transition easier – especially for those who aspire to move from Horizon to Alaska.

A strong future depends on innovative and talented leaders. That’s why the Developing Emerging Leaders (DEL) program is so important—it’s designed to prepare employees at Alaska or Horizon for future leadership opportunities.
DEL is a competitive six-month leadership development program for high potential frontline employees, individual contributors and new supervisors who have demonstrated outstanding performance, values, and are interested in pursuing leadership roles. In addition to their regular job duties, participants complete individual and group assignments that provide exposure across the business while developing leadership skills and solving real business challenges.
