Alaska Airlines Part-Time Passenger Service Coordinator in Tlajomulco de Zunigal, Mexico

Role Summary

The Passenger Service Coordinator- Mexico is responsible for assisting guests with travel needs at Alaska Airlines (AS). As a member of the passenger service team, this individual contributor role is responsible for greeting, assisting, and making announcements in Spanish for the benefit of Spanish-speaking guests.

Key Duties

  • Greet passengers during boarding process and upon arrival to destination.

  • Make announcements and security services in Spanish while onboard aircraft, including, but not limited to, luggage on board, emergency exit safety reviews, security announcements (e.g., cross-check of aircraft complete, double beep of 10,000 ft, remove seatbelt when applicable, etc.), food & beverage service, landing and gate arrival information.

  • Assist Spanish-speaking guests with completion of appropriate international documentation forms.

  • Promote Spanish-speaking guests membership promotions in the AS Mile Plan Program.

Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills


  • A minimum of 6 months of customer service or community service experience.

  • Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (e.g., verbal, written, listening).

  • Ability to consistently lift 25 kgs.

  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, reach and grasp.

  • Flexibility to work varied shifts (e.g., weekends, holidays).

  • Ability to participate in paid training.

  • Ability to learn and operate a computerized reservation system.

  • Ability to adapt to performing work according to set procedures.

  • Ability to anticipate needs of others in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to communicate in Spanish and English.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum age of 18.

  • Must have the legal right to accept employment in Mexico.

  • Must possess a valid passport and U.S. Tourist Visa.

Starting Rate

MXN $90.00/Hr.
